Polsinelli Hires Data Center Shareholder Jason Romero for its KC Office

Polsinelli has introduced Jason Romero as the firm’s shareholder in its data center & infrastructure practice for the Kansas City office.

In his new role at Polsinelli, Romero will advise institutional investors, developers, lenders, technology companies and operators across the full lifecycle of data center development, according to a release. He brings experience in advanced manufacturing, smart industrial, modular production, and other mission-critical assets.

Before joining Polsinelli, Romero served in various leadership and legal roles at data center developers and real estate investment companies. Most recently, Romero served as the chief operating officer and chief legal officer at Mantle DC, a San Francisco-based company that specializes in designing and operating AI data centers.

He has also served as the executive vice president of growth at QTS Data Centers and as the vice president & AGC at Platform Ventures, both in the Kansas City metropolitan area, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Additionally, Romero has served as a real estate partner and construction attorney at Kansas City-based Husch Blackwell and as a real estate attorney for Stinson Leonard Street LLP, when the firm was formally known as Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP.

“Polsinelli has the integrated infrastructure platform needed to support data center clients from site selection and power procurement, through leasing, development and operations,” Romero said in the release. “I look forward to working with attorneys across the firm to help clients respond to the rapidly changing demands of the digital infrastructure industry.”

Romero earned his J.D., M.B.A., and M.S. in engineering from the University of Kansas.
