Posted August 20, 2026
Kansas City appliance and electrical manufacturer Milbank announced that it has promoted Chris Buelow to president and chief executive officer.
Buelow will begin his new role at the company effective immediately. He succeeds Brad Skinner, who will transition to CEO Emeritus and retire from the company on December 31, according to a release. Upon his retirement, Skinner will conclude his 40-year career at the company.
Skinner will serve as an advisor throughout the remainder of 2026.
Buelow brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role. He has spent over 14 years with the manufacturer, having first joined in 2009 as a national sales manager. He left the company for some years before returning in 2024 as a senior vice president. From there, he gained several promotions before earning his most recent role as president of the company in January.
As part of Milbank’s leadership transition, Skinner stepped down as president and continued as CEO, and Buelow was appointed president, according to a release at the time.
In his new role, Buelow will now lead sales, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and business intelligence. Buelow was recognized as an honoree in Ingram’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2015.
“It is an incredible honor to lead Milbank into its next chapter. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our employees, customers and the company so many have worked to build over nearly a century,” Buelow said in the release. “We have an exciting future ahead, focused on disciplined execution, operational excellence, investing in our people and building upon the values that have always made Milbank special.”
