Hill’s Pet Nutrition announced that Wendy Boise has been appointed executive vice president of people.
Boise will lead the Overland Park-based pet nutrition manufacturer’s global people function, impact and culture while advancing the capabilities and leadership of Hill’s teams worldwide, according to a release.
Boise brings more than 26 years of human resources leadership at Colgate-Palmolive in the New York metropolitan area. Most recently, she served as the executive vice president of global talent, learning and organization development. During her time there, Boise also served in several other leadership roles in the company’s human resources department.
She first joined Colgate-Palmolive in 2000.
“Hill’s has an incredible legacy of science-led innovation, and I am passionate about bringing that same forward-thinking approach to our workplace. My focus will be on advancing an inclusive culture where every team member can reach their full potential to continue delivering on our mission to transform pets’ lives,” Boise said in the release.
Throughout Boise’s career, she has also worked at SAP SuccessFactors under the CHRO Advisory Board for over 4.5 years, at WOMEN Unlimited, Inc. — now AscentPoint Leadership — as President’s Advisory Council for 4 years, at Morgan Stanley as a retirement services manager for around 2 years and at Merrill Lynch as a retirement plan services worker for around 2 years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Boise holds her bachelor’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting from New York University.
“She [Boise] will also be instrumental in strengthening our business partnerships to help leaders build teams that consistently deliver on our objectives, while spearheading our integration of new technology and AI to give our people faster, more personalized support in the coming year,” Yvonne Hsu, Hill’s president, said in the release.
