The Real Brokerage Inc., a real estate company headquartered in Miami, Florida, announced it has acquired Kansas City-based Chartwell Realty LLC in a move to expand its presence in the market.
Chartwell Realty’s 150 agents will join Real, raising its presence in the Kansas City metropolitan area to more than 450 local agents.
Founded in 2007, Chartwell Realty is led by president Brant Elsberry and vice president Robb Murry. The firm closed approximately 1,200 transactions in 2025, totaling $500 million in sales, according to a release. The firm operates three offices in the KC metro.
Chartwell Realty ranked No. 12 in the Top Area Residential Real Estate Companies in Ingram’s Power Book 2026 Edition. The firm also generated more than $450 million in gross sales in 2024 and 2023. Additionally, it serves all 22 counties in the bi-state area.
“From a cultural standpoint, Real is a strong fit for our organization,” Elsberry said in the release. “By aligning with Real, our agents will benefit from best-in-class technology, education and a platform that allows them to grow their businesses more efficiently while continuing to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.”
Real specialises in real estate, mortgage and closing services. The firm has a presence in all 50 states across the U.S. and Canada, with over 33,000 agents. In 2025, the company generated $2.0 billion for the full year, an increase of 56% from $1.3 billion in 2024, according to its full-year 2025 financial results.
