Kansas City-based Spencer Fane will add 75 attorneys to its roster following its announcement to combine with Conner & Winters, LLP.

The firms will officially combine effective July 1, according to a Wednesday release. This combination is Spencer Fane’s largest to date.

“Conner & Winters brings exceptional lawyers, complementary practices, and longstanding client relationships that expand our capabilities while fitting seamlessly into our collaborative, efficiency driven model,” Spencer Fane Chair Patrick J. Whalen said in the release. “The combined firm will offer increasingly sophisticated legal services with compelling economics and a client experience other law firms do not offer.”

Founded in 1933 and headquartered in Tulsa, Conner & Winters specializes in multiple practices, including energy, construction, health care, litigation, finance, and other complex commercial matters. The firm advises its client base from the Southern and Central regions with offices in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

“Spencer Fane has built a platform that combines strong economics, operational efficiency, and a genuinely collaborative culture – all while keeping clients at the center of the model,” Conner & Winters Managing Partner R. Kevin Redwine said in the release.

Spencer Fane has had a recent string of announced combinations with sizable firms. Most recently, in January, the firm announced it would combine with Washington, D.C.-based Global IP Counselors LLP, adding more than 60 attorneys. Spencer Fane has also made public its plans to combine with New York-based Golenbock Eiseman, Nevada-based Holley Driggs and New Mexico-based Montgomery & Andrews.
