Todd Barrett, the chief accounting officer for Custom Truck One Source, announced he will be resigning from his role at the company early in 2026.

Barrett informed Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) that he will resign as the chief accounting officer of the Company, effective January 16, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing also stated that Barrett’s decision to resign was not a result of any disagreement with the CTOS on any matter relating to its operations, policies, or practices. No further details were disclosed in the filing.

Barrett served more than 6 years with the company, beginning his role as CAO in June 2019. In 2022, Barrett was appointed interim chief financial officer for CTOS following the resignation of Brad Meader, CTOS’s existing CFO at the time. The position of CFO would be filled by Chris Eperjesy in August 2022.

Founded in 1996, CTOS has grown its workforce to over 2,500 full-time employees, with about 1,000 in the KC area, and 41 locations nationwide. The company ranked No. 8 in the Top Area Public Companies in Ingram’s The Power Book 2025 Edition. CTOS generated $1.83 billion in revenue in 2023.
