Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City is adding a fourth location to its operations following the retirement of Dr. F. Parker Thornton.

Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City has announced its next expansion at 8901 W 74th St, Ste 121, Merriam, KS, inside the Georgetown Medical Building. The previous occupant of the space was Thornton, who, after 40 years of dedicated service, is retiring on September 30.

The new location will offer services in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and related specialties. Dr. Thornton’s staff and audiologist, Kristy Campion, Au.D., will become a part of the Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City team, according to a release.

“It has been a privilege to care for patients throughout my career,” Thornton said in the release. “I am confident that the physicians at Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City will continue to uphold the highest standards of care and lead the practice into a bright future.”

The company said it would provide patients with a seamless continuity of care and access to the same trusted providers and staff. Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City is supported by Parallel ENT & Allergy, which provides non-clinical practice management services to more than 100 providers and 450 employees across 26 locations in five states.

Since 1991, Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City has provided expert care for ear, nose, and throat conditions across the Kansas City metro area. The care provider has three other locations in Overland Park, South Overland Park, and Grandview.
