Master’s Transportation has officially relocated its headquarters to Kansas City, consolidating the company’s operations and creating 355 new jobs.
Master’s Transportation announced it will be moving its operations of its five locations into a single campus headquarters, located at 14655 Prospect Ave. The new headquarters marks a $72 million investment for the company.
The new 330,000-square-foot facility includes an office space, production facility, service building and bus parking. It also offers an expansive selection of new and used shuttle buses, school buses, and vans available for rent, purchase, or lease, according to a Monday release from the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
“Our grand opening represents more than just a new building – it’s the culmination of years of hard work to bring our entire team together to better serve our customers,” CEO of Master’s Transportation, John Goodbrake, said in the release. “We’re excited to celebrate this achievement with Master’s Transportation’s employees, their families, and the Kansas City business community who have supported us throughout our journey.”
Master’s expects 250 jobs to be filled by the end of 2025, with positions in manufacturing, automotive service, sales, and administration.
Master’s Transportation will benefit from the Missouri Works program.
“Our state continues to stand out as an ideal location for leading employers like Master’s Transportation,” said Governor Mike Kehoe. “It’s exciting to see this company building on its history of success in Missouri while further strengthening our transportation industry. We look forward to the benefits that Master’s Transportation will provide for Kansas City through this significant investment.”
Master’s Transportation ranked No. 31 in the Ingram’s 2025 Corporate Report 100 in July. The company generated more than $232 million in 2024 revenue, a 148.52% increase from the previous year.
