The public is invited to experience the beauty of one of Kansas City’s oldest neighborhoods during the 22nd Annual Union Hill Garden Tour on Sunday, June 11. Nearly 20 private and community gardens are on the tour for viewing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Plus the tour includes the UMKC string quartet, complimentary transportation and local Union Hill business specials. Tickets are available in advance online at unionhillkc.com or uchskc.org. The tour begins in Union Hill at 31st Street and Grand Avenue. Free parking is available in the KCPT parking lot. Free garage parking is also available adjacent to the new Cafe Europa and Underdog Wine Co. located on the west side of Gillham Road.
