The De Soto Planning Commission has approved preliminary plans for a 126-unit mixed housing project.
AA Land Devco LLC, submitted plans for a multi-family development dubbed Countryside Farms. The development would be located south of 95th Street along Lexington Avenue, according to city documents.
The ultimate project will have 5 phases. The first phase will consist of duplexes and multifamily units built on two areas to the north and south. A total of 72 two-bedroom multi-family units and 54 duplexes are planned for the first phase. Additionally, four multi-family units will be ADA accessible. A clubhouse is also planned for a later phase.
The De Soto City Council is scheduled to review the first phase of the Countryside Farms development at its next meeting on Thursday.
Phelps Engineering Inc. is working on the project as the civil engineer.
