Olathe-based KVC Health Systems has partnered with Overland Park-based WellSky to create a behavioral health services platform designed to improve care outcomes for the organization.

The platform is KVC Health Systems’ answer to the growing need for its behavioral health services. The platform utilizes WellSky’s electronic health record technology to meet the unique needs of its behavioral health providers, according to a release.

The WellSky Specialty Care for Behavioral Health platform is purpose-built for behavioral healthcare providers to streamline processes. Its electronic health record technology integrates seamlessly with other systems and provides tailored experiences for various roles within KVC Health Systems’ 10 private, nonprofit organizations.

“From our first discussions with WellSky, it was clear that their approach was exactly what we were looking for,” Chief Information Officer at KVC Health Systems, Lonnie Johnson, said in the release.

The WellSky EHR will enable KVC Health Systems to meet the evolving needs of behavioral health providers. The partnership to create the platform is a milestone for the chairman and CEO of WellSky, Bill Miller, as it furthers both organizations’ goals to revolutionize behavioral healthcare.

“Our shared goals of improving mental health and wellness by utilizing innovative technology solutions gives us the opportunity to make a profound impact on the behavioral health community, enhancing care delivery and driving better outcomes for those in need,” Miller said in the release.
