One Bright and Phoggy Night . . .

The timing simply couldn’t have been better: One of the nation’s most iconic basketball venues, celebrating its 60th year, and another college basketball season just around the corner. That was the backdrop Oct. 27 when thousands of University of Kansas Jayhawk fans packed Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence to pay tribute to the Fieldhouse and to recall on-court successes dating back more than half a century. Headlining the evening were KU dignitaries past and present—coaches, players and supporters—who came tog-ether to celebrate over dinner, drinks and recollections of championships past.
