Former KC Bureau Chief Ascends at New York Times



A.G. Sulzberger—son of New York Times publisher, Arthur Sulzberger, Jr.—has been named deputy publisher of the New York Times. His career to-date includes two years as the Times’ Kansas City bureau chief.

In his new role Sulzberger will work closely with his father and other company leaders on all facets of the business and news operations of The New York Times Company.

The new deputy publisher will be moving to his role from that of associate editor for strategy, responsible for leading a team focused on continued digital transformation in the Times’ newsroom.
