CORPORATE REPORT 100

Perfect Commerce

Gross Revenue: 2004: $30,788,626 2001: $4,058,356 Growth 658.648%
Full-time employees: 167

Perfect Commerce makes its second straight appearance in the Corporate Report 100 top 10 with the same technique that landed it in the No. 2 spot last year. CEO Sandy Kemper says that the steady growth of the past few years is split evenly between “organic and acquired growth.” Driving the growth is the proprietary open-supplier network. It is the “dial-tone” for any procurement application. Acquisitions growth includes the purchase of a similar company that specializes in the utilities industry. There are similar companies in oils and gas, metals and mining, and aerospace and defense that provide interesting opportunities for the future.
