Guarded Optimism Bouys Wealth Management Firms

On a beautiful October morning at the Briarcliff complex overlooking Downtown Kansas City, a score of this region’s leading wealth management authorities met to discuss the state of their industry.
Hosted and sponsored by M&I Bank and M&I Wealth Management, the meeting was surprisingly upbeat. A common theme was the flight of capital away from the coasts to the center and away from the risky to the sane. The participants also shared insights on a range of investment opportunities.
Co-chairing the event were Dave Janus, regional president of M&I Bank, and Kelli Glynn, senior vice president of subsidiary M&I Wealth Management. This was the sixth year that Ingram’s has organized a wealth-management assembly in its acclaimed Industry Outlook series.
