Mark sonnenberg Most salesmen aren’t known for mentoring, but Mark Sonnenberg isn’t your typical salesman. The 33-year-old senior vice president and director of industrial sales and leasing for Kansas City’s Colliers Turley Martin Tucker’s local office enjoys mentoring and training upcoming talent. “Over the past four years, I have recruited and assembled a team of associates to form a full-time brokerage team that operate as a mini company within Colliers,” Sonnenberg says. His method might be uncommon, but it works: Last year, his team completed more than $93 million in transactions. Colliers named Sonnenberg Broker of the Year and recognized him as a top three producer in its Kansas City office. Real Estate Forum magazine also recognized Sonnenberg in its list of top 35 real estate professionals younger than 35. Sonnenberg is a leader in his community as well as his profession. The busy father of two finds time to serve on the board of directors for Kansas City SmartPort and Northeast Industrial Association. He is a member of the Pioneer Trails fundraising committee for the Boy Scouts’ Heart of America Council and a member of the United Way Young Leaders Society. |
