Ingram's Magazine Honors Kansas City's
2002 Top Doctors

Once again this year we at Ingram’s are pleased to present our Top Doctors list, profiling the excellent work being done by 15 doctors in the Kansas City area. While they represent diverse specializations, we found they actually share at least two things in common. Each of them marveled at the technology and medicine that have become a regular part of their jobs. Illnesses and disorders they remember helplessly trying to combat years ago can now be better treated, and in some cases, entirely cured. The top doctors told us how much they enjoy learning new techniques, reading about chemical discoveries and implementing this ongoing education in their practices. They spoke in awe not only of the advancements made in their own fields of study, but of the progress they see in so many other specialties.

Family is the other common element to our honorees. Nearly every doctor spoke about the difficult balance between work and family, but stressed how much joy their families have brought into their lives. Trekking up the side of mountains, traveling to economically disadvantaged countries for charity work, training and competing in triathlons, dropping out of helicopters to ski down the side of untamed mountains—these are all a part of typical family life for the men and women among this year’s top doctors.

We’re proud of the care being given by healthcare professionals throughout the Kansas City community. This month, we’re especially proud of these 15: The Top Doctors of 2003.
