Managing Expectations in an Uncertain Environment


Of late, the word “volatile” seems to be more or less permanently attached to most aspects of the American economy. This volatility may not be good for a wealth manager’s nerves, but it makes for good copy in Ingram’s annual Wealth Management Industry Outlook report.
Every year, almost everything is different, and this year was no exception. More than a dozen of the region’s top wealth managers met in an early October assembly sponsored by Creative Planning and the Bank of Kansas City. Chairing the event were Michael Brown, senior vice president at BOK Financial, and Randy Hallier, wealth manager at Creative Planning, Inc.
