The fireworks business is expanding not only into other seasons, but into other venues as well. The 4th is universal, but New Year's Eve is huge in the South. Charles Wald's business has another warehouse in San Antonio to help supply the need there. The Hispanic market shoots off fireworks during Christmas, too. Rock concerts have been using fireworks for years, and they're been very popular at baseball stadiums as an attraction to increase attendance. The most exciting fireworks news, though, which impacts the seasonality, is the gradual increased usage indoors. Wald just got back from a Chicago bank awards ceremony where they shot off the most indoor fireworks ever seen in the city. They did both indoor and outdoor pyrotechnics for Union Station's New Year's Eve celebration last year.
