around the region

Scott Krichau’s four-feet-tall "Bronze Pods With Wings" scatter across the intersection at 11th and Central. His sculptures, reminiscent of maple tree helicopters, grace the grassy areas around the Lyric Theatre and Financial Holding Corp. They are part of the temporary installation of Avenue of the Arts 2002, which kicked off on May 16.
