This young, Overland Park-based company provides IT services and staffing to companies throughout the Midwest. Says CEO Jon Schram, "We make long term investments in people's careers. We're a four-year-old company with staff celebrating their fourth anniversaries. That is almost unheard of in IT."
Yet, for all their whirlwind growth, Schram and company have been deeply involved in the community. More than twenty RiverPoint volunteers turned out to support Habitat for Humanity in May. In February the company sponsored a child safety education workshop at Truman Medical Center, and late last year the company presented its third straight scholarship to Kansas State; the scholarships enable students to pursue a technical education. They have funded a program with Truman to provide carseats to new moms in need. The company's corporate slogan—"Better people, Better Solutions"—reflects a life philosophy as well.
