Onward and Upward

A decade ago we at Show-Me Publishing purchased Ingram’s Magazine with one primary goal in mind: to better serve the interests of business executives in the greater Kansas City area and the bi-state region.
Since then, Ingram’s has grown to include many distinctive editions, programs, series, feature reprint sections, competitions and annual traditions. We have faced any number of competitors during those years, and they inevitably fade away. Perhaps, because of our success, it may look like running a regional business magazine is easy. But as our fellow entrepreneurs can attest, nothing done right is done easily.
To mark the 11th year of our ownership and the 33rd year of the publication, we have redesigned Ingram’s. We hope you find the new design refreshing, easy to follow and easy to navigate.
As you will see too, we are adding several new regular features, including a Banking & Financial Services Quarterly Report that will alternate with a Healthcare Quarterly and our Construction Quarterly reports. We’ve also added a number of columns and departments, some will be rolled out in the coming months.
Even more significant than Ingram’s redesign, for us and our readers, is the pending launch of our entirely new data-driven website, www.IngramsOnLine.com.
The new site will offer much more content and useful information, and we’re confident you will find it useful for growing your own business and navigating the regional business landscape.
In addition, we will soon launch the completely redesigned DestinationKansasCity.com website. This will be the first of many such “Destination” sites to be launched in 2007. Each site will serve the interests of area cities and counties as well as the states of Missouri and Kansas.
As good looking as our sites are, they avoid the superficial fluff of so many contemporary sites in favor of the nuts and bolts of sites that actually work. We have designed them to deliver the sophisticated, trustworthy, and useful information you’ve come to expect from Ingram’s. We hope that you will use IngramsOnLine.com and DestinationKansasCity.com as your regional B-2-B home page.
What Else is New at Ingram's
Among our new products are Destination Missouri and its companion website DestinationMissouri.com. This publication will be released at the Biotechnology Conference in Boston in early May and will be used by state, county and city officials as well as economic development professionals and business leaders to drive attention and investment to communities through- out the state of Missouri.
Ingram’s 2007 expansion plans are undertaken with one objective—to insure that our readers and advertisers are better served and that our products are relevant, reliable and reputable.
Expect more to come. As always we welcome and encourage your in-put. Please let us know your thoughts about this and future editions. Our goal is to better serve our readers and patrons and we want your input and advise. On behalf of our talented team of professional journalists at Ingram’s and Show-Me Publishing, Inc., we look forward to serving you and your organization and we encourage you to put Ingram’s on the plan in 2007.
Our Best!
