The WIN for KC Women’s Sports Awards Celebration presented by Burns & McDonnell recognizes local girls and women for their community contributions and achievements in sports.

  • Area high school female state champions will be featured as part of the “Celebration of Champions March.”
  • Six local individuals will be recognized for their contributions and achievements in sports and fitness with the following awards:
    • Children’s Mercy Rising Star Award
    • Lockton Courage Award
    • Kissick Construction Game Changer Award
    • UMB Lifetime Sportswoman Award
    • Hallmark Cards Leadership Award
    • BKD WOW Award

 

2018 Luncheon co-chairs are Mary Buschmann, Executive Director, USTA, Missouri Valley Section and Rebecca Sommers, Associate Creative Director, Garmin.
