Shop Small, Shop Local this holiday season in Waldo.
Small Business Saturday is November 25 from 10am-4pm in the Waldo Neighborhood.
We’re hosting a Waldo Small Business Saturday Crawl coinciding with the national campaign by American Express to promote small businesses across the country.
What is Small Business Saturday?
Since 2010, American Express has encouraged thousands of Americans to flock to small businesses the Saturday after Thanksgiving to #shopsmall. Small business owners generated an estimated $15.4 billion dollars on Small Business Saturday in 2016.
Earn Waldo Bucks!
Start anywhere along the route by picking up a Small Business Saturday Crawl Passport at any participating store (listed below).
Visit 10 participating businesses, you will receive $10 in *Waldo Bucks.
Spend $50 at participating businesses and get an additional $10 in *Waldo Bucks.
Shoppers can also be entered for their chance to win Waldo Bucks.
Visitors can also pick up Shop Small swag at the Waldo Area Business Association offices at 7222 Wornall Rd. To receive Waldo Bucks and be entered to win additional Waldo Bucks, shoppers must turn in their completed card to the Waldo Area Business Association by 4 p.m. on November 25, 2017.

*Terms and Conditions: Must be 18 years of age to earn and be entered to win Waldo Bucks. Spend $50 at participating business on 11/25/17 and receive $10 in Waldo Bucks (limit $10 Waldo Bucks earned per person). Receipts must be dated 11/25/17 and be combined to total $50. To earn $10 in Waldo Bucks, shoppers must visit 10 participating businesses and have their Waldo Small Business Saturday Passport stamped (limit $10 Waldo Bucks earned per person). Limit $20 combined Waldo Bucks maximum earned per person. Receipts and passports cannot be used by multiple participants and can only be redeemed at one location, at one time.
