Organizing for Successful Fundraising (Core Course)

Most organizations are unsuccessful with their fund raising efforts, not because their cause isn’t worthy of support, but because they simply are not organized to fund raise. This course covers the basic elements of a mission statement, preparing the case for support, the roles of staff and board, the various legal issues involved and what different types of donors look for in a proposal. Enrollees also learn how to computerize agency fund raising records.

This Core course is held over four days. Next session will be held on:

Date: Fall 2017 Semester: Aug. 24-25 & Sept. 21-22, 2017
Winter 2018: Jan. 19-20 & Feb. 16-17, 2018
All classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
