The Catholic Education Foundation’s annual Gaudeamus (“Let Us Rejoice”) awards dinner will be Saturday, October 21 at the Overland Park Convention Center. During this celebration of Catholic education in the Archdiocese, CEF will present the Michael & Patty Morrisey Angels Among Us Award to longtime volunteers Stan & Suzan Cramer and a Special Community Service Award to Channel 41 Action News. In addition, Resurrection Catholic School at the Cathedral in Kansas City, KS will receive the 2017 Archbishop Joseph Naumann CEF School of Excellence Award. All proceeds from this event go to scholarships for children living in poverty to attend Archdiocesan schools.
