The top work-of-art bras will be auctioned with a package such as night out stays, getaway weekends, sporting tickets, etc. These one-of-a-kind Art Bras will be designed and created by family & friends of survivors, local artists, celebrities and volunteers. Fashion show models are breast cancer survivors and patients walking the runway to celebrate their survival. Along with the art bras, approximately 50 other pieces of art of multi-medias will be featured in a silent auction.
Bra Couture KC is a unique and fun : auction event showcasing eclectic work-of-art bras modeled by breast cancer survivors to celebrate their triumph over cancer. It’s not about the bra….it’s about the bravado to walk a 92‐foot runway and the survival journey that represents. From shaken to self‐assured; from fearful to fierce; from unsure to unflappable. Bra Couture KC’s mission is “To raise money for uninsured/ underinsured cancer patients in the greater Kansas City area to provide key and life‐ saving supplies for organizations serving individuals touched by all cancers.“
