A Walk to Remember Run/Walk

Come run through the KC Zoo with us!  Law Enforcement Officers, families and friends from across the metro are invited to join the Kansas City Police Officers Memorial Foundation for this special day as we honor our fallen law enforcement offices during National Peace Offices Week.

The day will begin with a 5k walk around the Kansas City Zoo.  This unique opportunity allows families to see theanimals before the zoo is open to the public.  Families who do not want to tackle a full 5k can enjoy a 1 mile commemorative walk.

  • $24 / person (kids 2 and under free)
  • 5k / 1 mile memorial walk
  • Free catered lunch
  • Free ride wristbands for the train, tram & carousel

5k at 8AM.  Walk at 8:30 AM
