Please join us as we celebrate University Academy students and alumni at the 15th Annual Gala – One for the History Books. The Gala will take place on Saturday, April 8th at University Academy. The wonderfully creative and long time UA supporter, Maura Landers, will serve as Event Chair. Honorary Chairs will be University Academy’s beloved co-founders and actively involved board members, Shirley and Barnett Helzberg.
Funds raised at the gala pay for numerous special educational opportunities and programs for students and alumni, such as study abroad for high school students, College Incentive Program rewards for alums who are persisting through college and funding for the summer reading program in the Lower School. Your support makes a huge, positive impact on the lives of UA’s students and alumni.
Cocktail Hour – 6:30pm
Dinner – 7:30pm (delish! Catering)
Live Music and Dancing – 8:30pm-11:00pm
Lounge – 9:00-11:00pm (The Roasterie Cappuccino Bar)
We encourage you to come dressed like your favorite historical character, whether it’s a past president, a KC icon, a famous scientist, artist or even a special family member! Creativity is encouraged and as usual, anything goes.
