Women in Tech: Lenora Payne

Once again, Kansas City, MO was named one of the best cities in the country for women in technology.  That’s four straight years the City of Fountains has owned the number two spot in America.  While the number of tech jobs is growing slowly for KCMO (just 16% over the last year according to the study) the bright spot for women is that the gender pay gap actually favors females by 2%.  

One woman who has made a killing in the field of information technology is TGS CEO and Founder Lenora Payne.  We caught up with her at our Ingram’s 250 event a couple of weeks before this latest ranking came out.  Click play below to get Payne’s thoughts on what it takes to be successful and why Kansas City may be the perfect place to build your own company.
